here
I only 'clipped' the truck. Use the same method for the others.
And your models must be in the models folder of cstrike.

I'm sorry, but i still get the models as some little pink dots in the map.
I have no way to know how tall they will be, or if they will be touching anything around because of the small size of the dot.
This is how i see it:
http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/5595/utennavn.png
Is there anyway so that I could see the acutall tree on VHE?
Like i can when i use prefabs, and not models ?

If you have version 1.5
But you have to put the exact file path [in the options thing]
like C:\program files\this\here\now\
[you will have to get really close to see it
then you can make it how you want it
but to compile it you have to put it back to the
models/*.mdl
[where * is the name of your model.]
and it will stay in the position you put it in

You need
jrkookid said: Q: Where is halflife-cs.fgd
It is in a sub-folder of the folder where Hammer is installed. It should be something like this:
C:\Program Files\Valve Hammer Editor\fgd\Counter-Strike\
Unless you told it to install somewhere else.
A lot of mappers don't like the original fgd because it doesn't allow you to build a lot of cool things. If you'd like, you can download the CS Expert FGD which is much cooler and even has some bug fixes:
http://www.superjer.com/files/cs-fgd-xp_8u.zip
Unzip everything to your Hammer/fgd/counter-strike folder. Then tell Hammer to use the new FGD (Tools->Options->Game Configurations->Game Data Files box).

What entity did you use to insert the model and what did you write in the Path property field?
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

Can you copy exactly what you wrote there? The path has to be relative.
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

Try changing that into just models\trees\tree0.mdl
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.
