ugh now it say the hlcsg,hlbsp, etc. doesnt work. it says "cannot determine if hlcsg is internal or external command"

what now? -.-.. i checked the .bat file, they are in there

Still the same .bat file or did you change it any?
If you changed it, post the contents of the new one.

no i didnt change it.. it's still the same:

hlcsg -nowadtextures Brocken
hlbsp Brocken
hlvis Brocken
hlrad Brocken
copy Brocken.bsp "G:ChrisValveSteamSteamAppsda_fleegstacounter-strikecstrikemaps"
pause

In the folder where the .bat file is you should have:
hlcsg.exe
hlbsp.exe
hlvis.exe
hlrad.exe

Make sure they are .exe files.
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

ahh thats why you were right. thanks :) for some reason every time i restart my computer, the files lose their extensions..

Make sure the four tools, the .map-file and the .bat-file are all in the same folder.

You must have changed something, since the tools ran properly before(except that they couldn't find the map-file)...

You haven't accidently changed the names of the tools or something?
