w00t yah I had the the path directing to the wrong place
So when it compiled the map, the .bsp file was directly sent to the maps folder for cstrike =D But then all of the other files came up in my zhlt folder including another .bsp file o_O Hehe but I honestly don't mind booting up cstrike manually to test it out. One more thing, does cstrike 1.6 not come with bots? If so, where could I pick some up? Truck

okay so i followed the tutorial and all [great btw] and basically got the map to compile correctly.. from what i know
the command box came up and said press any key to continue, so i did and patiently waited for the map to load in cs in test mode but nothing happened. BUT, about 8 new files popped up in my zhlt file including mapname.p0 mapname.p1 .prt .wic .pts etc etc -- all of which i have no clue what to do with. but i saw that a mapname.bsp was created so i decided to copy and paste that into my actual cstrike/maps folder and when i booted up cs i was able to play it =D I was just wondering wth happened and why wasnt i able to test my map right after the map was compiled. =P |
