[2018-01-23 05:56:10 UTC] no... but that they are gonna have to open up their "walled garden" as we call it, to allow DSP's to access their INVENTORY (and possibly buy their data). For example: google takes 40% from youtube inventory for advertisers, AND THEN a further 12% from their DSP. Which means that once old marketing (and sales) folks, who are very overpaid like UX/UI guys, die out or become EDUCATED they'll stop spending so much budget on google, which in turn will lead google to allow other DSP's to access ad spots on their sites. [2018-01-23 05:57:00 UTC] Cause at the moment like I said, google's DSP aka doubleclick is the only one that can bid on youtube/google.com impressions [2018-01-23 05:58:56 UTC] not to mention that it's not like their doesn't exist guys like BLUEKAI AND NIELSEN who can provide data not as accurate as google probably... but close enough and way cheaper for advertisers. [2018-01-23 06:02:32 UTC] AND also there exists certain DEALS by our company with guys who are competing against google, including a really big website who I shall not name cause that apparently would constitute INSIDER TRADING [2018-01-23 06:03:33 UTC] (also today I got contacted by a dude telling me to contact my PM about getting around to setting a story I worked on to be 'Business Approved', cause apparently that small piece of work was randomly sampled by SOX AUDITORS [2018-01-23 08:04:41 UTC] wait why will Google need to open up to other DSPs? I don't get it [2018-01-23 08:05:05 UTC] I don't see where this pressure is coming from
