What I had problems with was the item system, trying to see if a spell has a positive effect or not, and mostly trying to see if somebody is with you or against you (everybody had unique colors, might be altered through options) and some odd things with the controls. The control things were things that LoL added as it makes things "easier" to control, that were not available in DotA because of it being based on a strategy engine. I do agree it's more accessible though, which could explain its success. [2012-02-25 23:33:31 UTC] -Also, just to sound more like an arse, it's more accessable to eat ice cream than to ignore the pain of getting your fingernails pulled out, but it doesn't make eating ice cream less of a good activity.
