Happy New Years! Although I was hoping to have my Season 6 Review posted by now, it just isn't ready yet. But have high hopes that I will get it wrapped up in a fairly short amount of time. See you soon...

The end of Season 6 has finally arrived, folks! I know it's been a long time coming, but I hope you still enjoy my take on the final three episodes of the season: "Villains" (6x20), "Two to Go" (6x21), and "Grave" (6x22). Read them, discuss them, debate them, and join me in anticipation of the comprehensive Season 6 Review and the beginning of S7! I'm going to try real hard to quicken my review pace of the final season. Only one season left! :)

This is me, poking my head out the sand to let all you wonderful readers know that my reviews for the final three episodes of the season are coming along. My review of "Villains" is complete and I've started constructing "Two to Go." You want to know when they'll all be done, don't ya? Well, I'm pretty confident I can get them released before Christmas, if not sooner. While you're waiting, I wholly recommend being awed by the beauty of Planet Earth on the blu-ray format. Oh yeah, and go watch Dexter -- the show with the most well developed character since Buffy herself!

Sorry again for the long wait. Sometimes life just gets a little crazy. My review of Seeing Red (6x19) is finally complete! I hope to release my reviews of the next three episodes all at the same time, but we'll see how it works out. Enjoy!

As I begin working on the four episode finale of S6, I wanted to give everyone an idea of some of the things I have planned for the site before I start S7. Note that I make no guarantees any of this actually gets done, but I think most of it is likely to happen. As usual, always feel free to give me any feedback and/or suggestions. Here's the list:

• Back-end administrative templates, which will make it even easier for me to post reviews/news/articles from wherever I am.
• A toggleable "light" color scheme. There have been a few people who have expressed that the light text over the dark background is hard on their eyes. This will give readers an option.
• A limited amount of advertisements. This is hopefully a way for me to make a little extra money from the work I've put into this site. These will also likely play into a larger expansion scheme I have cooking post-Buffy. Rest assured that the ads will be fairly limited to content related to what you're reading, and I will not have any annoying ads including pop-ups or flash ads. Additionally, there won't be ads plastered all over the site. I'm talking about a few smallish ads to buy mostly Whedon stuff. I'll reveal more details about this when I have them myself.
• Moving all my reviews into a database. I might not be able to get to this until later, but doing this will open up my playbook of features. For example, searching the site in general would be enchanced by this change.
• A brand new podcast that focuses on song choices throughout Buffy and how they relate to the growth of the characters.

Before any of that happens, though, you'll have four -- dare I say -- excellent reviews to consume. Good times are ahead for this site! :)

Sorry for the wait!! My review of Entropy (6x18) is now officially up and ready to be eaten through the eyes! Just be more excited than the Scoobies when my wonderful words are processed by your brain. :)

Hi everyone. No new reviews yet, although I assure you several are in the works. I hope to have one or two up by the end of this weekend. In other news, though, I must point everyone to Joss Whedon's first live-action production since 2005's Serenity: Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. After seeing all three parts (only available online for free until tomorrow!), I can safely recommend it to all my readers. Although flawed, it's got parts that are just plain brilliant and hilarious. I particularly love Act II. Go check it out before it goes away!!

Well, I wasn't able to meet my goal of two episodes for the weekend, but the good news is that I got one of them done, and a big one at that. Check out my take of Normal Again (6x17).

Check it out! If you're reading this you've likely noticed the massive design upgrade of my site. Over the last week I've done something I've been meaning to do for a while now. Every single page throughout the site will now have a more cohesive, colorful design. I've re-arranged a few links as well to make navigation even easier. This page is now completely dedicated to news. In light of this, I moved the info about the site into the new About page. The main review page has also gotten a few nice upgrades such as the number of comments each review has, if there's a new comment, and a link to all new comments. Please feel free to send me (via PM, forum posts, or e-mail) comments on all of the changes.

Look out for a couple new reviews soon! Now that the design upgrade is complete, I'll be shifting my focus back to reviewing. Note that I'm looking to add new stuff to the site again after my Season 6 Review is complete.
